CNW All-Neighbor Meeting July 11 and News Update

R-1 Neighborhood Meeting

Please join us at the downtown Woodinville Fire House on Wednesday July 11 at 7pm for a short meeting to provide updates on CNW’s progress, recent victories, and important upcoming events. All homeowners in the R-1 area of Woodinville and in neighborhoods in Snohomish County that are also potentially impacted are welcome to attend. Note that this is a private, neighborhood meeting for homeowners only. Developers and members of the press are not invited.

News Update

About the Closed Record Hearing

We plan to go into more detail at the in-person July 11 meeting on what you can expect at the Closed Record Hearing on August 6 at City Council Chambers. So, please come in person to that meeting and please think about how you can contribute to supporting CNWs efforts. It’s important to remember the following:

  1. The builder does NOT have permission to break ground and they HAVE NOT been granted the right to do anything yet. Only the City Council can make this decision.
  2. City Council needs to understand that HUNDREDS of Woodinville area citizens continue to be keenly interested in the outcome of the City Council’s vote. Note that this hearing is just before the August City Council primary elections. We’ve worked hard for over 3 years to hold our stand and fight off the builder---please show up and show your support.

Exercise Your Rights—Register to VOTE!

We encourage EVERYONE to register to vote so that your voice can be heard. You and CNW can influence the election and the stance that the City takes on development issues. One of your and CNW’s major accomplishments has been to alter the City’s understanding of the GMA process and willingness to protect the neighborhoods.

July 21st is the last day to register to vote in the primary. Use the links below to ensure your voice is heard.

How Will You be Helping?

If you are willing to contribute time to our efforts, please fill out the online form and we’ll be sure to contact you. You may also use this form to send in your pledge for financial support in order to help us cover necessary legal expenses.

We appreciate your continued support! Together, we are a strong adversary and our strength as a community organization has never been stronger!! Thank you for helping to ensure your neighbors are also informed.

See you Wednesday, July 11 at 7pm at the downtown Woodinville Fire House.

Sincerely,

Your CNW Team
