CNW Endorsements

Dear Woodinville Neighbors,

Following the Meet the Candidates event, the Board of Concerned Neighbors of Wellington (CNW) is formally endorsing the following candidates for Woodinville City Council.

City of Woodinville, Council Position 6

  • Please vote for Al Taylor (incumbent)

City of Woodinville, Council Position 7

  • Please vote for Gary Harris (incumbent)

How did we decide?

CNW wants to ensure the City of Woodinville keeps its promise of "preserving our Northwest woodland character, our open space, and our clean environment." CNW believes high-density housing and the resulting increased traffic through our neighborhoods are in direct conflict with the City's vision. Uncontrolled growth or rezoning that destroys the wooded character in established neighborhoods would demonstrate that the City is abandoning its vision and the very reason for its formation. CNW views our role as a guardian of responsible growth which meets Growth Management Act (GMA) requirements and gives us the freedom of “self-governance” we fought so hard to win in WA State Supreme Court!

Why You Should Care

Leaders are judged by their vision for the future—your vote for candidates whose goals are aligned with CNW’s Mission Statement will help form the lasting legacy with the citizens of Woodinville by providing a community in a rural tranquil setting that ourselves and our children can enjoy

Please vote for Al Taylor and Gary Harris

Warmly,

Your Concerned Neighbors of Wellington Board
