Dear Woodinville Neighbor,

This Monday night, August 6, at 6pm is the most important meeting we’ve asked you to attend in 3 years.  The City Council will hear testimony from both sides on the proposed Wood Trails and Montevallo developments.  This is the day we’ve been working toward for over 3 years where the Woodinville City Council hears our concerns about these proposed developments.  Remember, the Hearing Examiner only made a recommendation.  It’s the City Council that makes the actual decision.

PLEASE Plan to Attend the August 6, 6pm Closed-Record Hearing

Here’s a few quick guiding principles for this Monday’s 6pm meeting:

  1. If you spoke at any of the March or April hearings, at the DEIS hearing or have been receiving the mailings from the City of Woodinville about Wood Trails or Montevallo, you are considered a “party of record” and can speak on Monday night.  We want to PACK the speaker sign-up sheet FULL so please sign up to speak.  Feel free to bring a copy of what you may have read or submitted in March/April during the meetings with the Hearing Examiner.  Even if you do not plan to speak, please plan to attend.  We need to PACK the house with people to send a loud and clear message to the City Council.
  2. Remember that while you may be tired of saying “the same thing over and over again,” the City Council has not been able to attend any of the previous hearings so this will be the first time they’ve heard you speak!!   Take the opportunity to express your thoughts---we have so many bright, articulate citizens in our neighborhoods---the Council needs to hear YOU!
  3. Meeting begins promptly at 6pm in the City Council Chambers.  We expect an overload crowd so if you want to sit in the main Council Chambers, please plan to arrive early.  CNW team members will be wearing name tags so that you can easily recognize them in case you have questions.

REMEMBER:

We appreciate your continued support!  See you Monday night!

Sincerely,

Your CNW Team
