CNW Meeting Notice

When: Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 7pm

Where: Downtown Woodinville Fire House  (17718 Woodinville-Snohomish Road next to Post Office)

Who: All residents of the greater Wellington-Leota neighborhood and surrounding areas concerned about changes to existing zoning.

Why: To provide updated information about upcoming rezoning hearings and increase community awareness about future City planning issues

Topics of discussion will include the status of the upcoming rezoning appeal, legal updates, insights into City planning efforts, upcoming fun CNW community events, fund-raising activities, and the path forward.

Special Guest: Hal Hart, our City’s Development Services Director, will be there to talk about planning issues and to answer your questions.

Pass this notice on to your neighbors and friends, and plan on attending this important meeting.  Bring your ideas, thoughts and concerns to share with your community

• A reminder that all are encouraged to submit comments on the Sustainable Development Study for the R-1 Area. Comments should be addressed to halh@ci.woodinville.wa.u. Deadline for submitting comments (letter or email) is January 31, 2008, 5 pm. The Study is available for review on the city website or at City Hall.
• Many Thanks to Jeff Glickman for his service to CNW as President.  Matt Schultz is now the new CNW President; Bernie Talmas is the new Vice President.  All CNW members are strongly encouraged to participate in Board meetings and consider becoming a Board member.
• Phil Relnick is hosting a world class martial arts demonstration on February 2.  Mark your calendars for this family fun event.
• We are planning a neighborhood auction of goods and services to take place within the next few months, and need help at all levels for this fund-raising effort to be successful.
