Remember to Vote on August 21^st

Support Those Who Support CNW

The primary election results are essential to success in the general election and transforming our City Council.

So Help Me Out Here...

Many neighbors are asking for information on candidates. Signs, banners, and brochures are starting to circulate. Below are the names of candidates (listed alphabetically) who are either members of CNW or have demonstrated great support for retaining R-1 during City Council meetings or in the press.

These citizens have stepped up to the plate, sacrificing time and money to uphold protection of the R-1 area in Woodinville and the mission of CNW. They deserve our utmost support. Please examine how their platforms fit into your voting decision.

The Election Process

The four steps to vote in the election are:

• First, one must be a registered voter. See the following websites
• King County Voter Registration
• Washington Voter Registration Form (pdf)
• Second, the primary on Tuesday, August 21st, is to narrow the contests with more than two candidates. Three citizens are running for Position #2 and four citizens are running for Position #6. These seats will be on the primary ballot. (Position #4 has two candidates and therefore will only be on the general ballot November 6th). Ballots will be mailed out the end of this month. Limited polling places will be available for those not registered to vote by mail.
• Third, become informed about the seven candidates in the primary. Five have supported CNW and its vision that citizens should determine the direction growth takes in our city.
• Fourth, the top two vote-getters in the primary proceed to the general election in November.
